Best wishes from the Alive Inside kids- all over the world!

This year thousands of elders were remembered and were given the music and connection they needed to awaken their minds and memories. 
Hundreds of abandoned elders ended their lives with joy and connection instead of depression and isolation,
and thousands of young people learned empathy skills and the thrill of giving profoundly. 
On behalf of all of them, thank you for transforming their lives.

I recently watched Marian, an Ibero University student, sit with Violeta an abandoned elder and return to her the life she had given up on. 
This was my dream for "Alive Inside" realized! 
Mariana visited Violeta for 14 weeks- Amazing. 
During that time she began to smile and dance again, her diabetes reversed,
and she found a boyfriend (he is 84!)  
Without your help, Violeta would have died alone and in despair. 
Instead, she transitioned, feeling warm and loved.

Today, we’re launching our 2017 Year-End Campaign. 
Our goal for next year is to help an additional 5000 youth and elders end their loneliness and disconnection. 
We helped thousands of people this year, but this is just a drop in the bucket- there are still 5 million Americans with dementia and 12 million elders living at home alone.  

Our goal is to raise $50,000 by December 31st.   This will let us give away 2000 Headset/Empathy Training Kits to youth volunteers. 
These young people will provide Music, Free Headsets, Memorez Life Stories, for elders in need.

We simply can’t do it without you.  Your support will make an impact in the lives of these wondrous souls.
